San Luis Obispo, CA

The design challenge for the Marsh Street Offices in San Luis Obispo was to create a facility on a very small site that incorporated a busy downtown street frontage and took advantage of the natural creek setting in the rear. The solution was to place the two-story, 3,500 square foot building along the edge of the creek bank, locating the parking across the creek. The two were connected with a pedestrian bridge spanning 100 feet. The design style and materials were chosen to reflect the surrounding neighborhood and natural creek environment.
